Los Angeles, the City of Angels, is one of the glitziest, most glamorous cities on the west coast.
It’s full of stars, wannabe stars, budding musicians, fitness fanatics, and average Joes. There’s absolutely no better place for people watching. When you fork out the cash to visit a bustling city like Los Angeles, you want to ensure you’re getting the most out of your trip
Here’s what you need to know for a sensational vacation.
Shop til you drop
From cute designer boutiques to antique stores to global designers, if you’re a fan of fashion, you’re going to love LA.
And if you’ve traveled from cooler climates, you’re guaranteed to find summer apparel that dreams are made of. Sunglasses, bikinis, shorts, miniskirts and maxi-dresses are available in every style imaginable, so don’t panic if you don’t come prepared.
It’s the home of picky diets
There’s something in the air in LA that makes everyone strive to be the healthiest they can. Which means new gym crazes and fad diets constantly springing up around the city.
There are restaurants for literally any food persuasion you could hope for: vegan, kosher, gluten-free, raw – whatever you want or need, it’s going to be there.

So even if you suffer from a food intolerance, LA is going to be your food heaven.
You don’t have to hire a car
The city is sprawling, traffic is aggressive, and the roads are always busy.
Hiring a car might seem like the only way to get around, but there are plenty of other options if you’re not able or willing to fork out for a private ride.
Before you travel, book your Los Angeles airport transfers to and from your hotel or AirBnB. Once you’re in Lost Angeles, you can rely on local taxis, buses and the Metro to go anywhere for a fraction of the price of car hire.
Save time to go star spotting
It just isn’t a trip to LA without a day of people watching and star spotting at the Hollywood Bowl or Beverly Hills.
Guided tours of celebrity houses are popular with tourists, but wandering the streets hoping to catch a glimpse is way more fun. The area around the Hollywood Walk of Fame is swarming with A-list celebrities, so find yourself a nice cafe, a soya latte (when in Rome…) and do your best creeping – you never know who you’ll catch a glimpse of!
Los Angeles is a city like no other.
While it’s a city of excess with shopping, partying, and Hollywood wealth, it’s also a city of health fanatics and incredible hiking in the local hills. As far as a vacation destination goes, it’s second to none.
